Cookies & Tracking Technologies Policy

Last updated: 16 June 2026

1. Scope

This Cookies & Tracking Technologies Policy (the "Cookies Policy") describes the use of cookies and similar technologies in connection with the website at rezumic.com and the services made available through it (the "Service"). This Cookies Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Rezumic Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms not defined herein have the meanings given in the Privacy Policy.

2. First-party cookies

Rezumic does not set first-party cookies for analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, or user identification on the Service. No cookie banner is presented in respect of first-party cookies because none are set.

3. Browser storage

The Service makes use of the following browser-side storage mechanisms: localStorage— used to persist a working draft of the resume content entered into the builder so that the draft survives page reloads. The draft remains on the user's device and is not transmitted to Rezumic except at the point at which the user requests PDF generation. In-memory storage — used by the PostHog analytics client to maintain a per-tab session identifier. No PostHog cookie or localStorage entry is created; the identifier is discarded when the tab is closed.

4. Analytics events

Rezumic captures a limited set of analytics events relating to use of the Service, consisting of page views, identification of builder steps completed, the result of PDF download attempts, and aggregated session metadata such as browser type and country-level location. No event payload contains the substance of resume content or values entered into form fields.

5. Session recording

The Service includes session-replay functionality provided by PostHog, used for the limited purpose of diagnosing layout and usability issues. Recording is configured at source such that the values of all form input elements (input, textarea, select) and the text content of the rendered resume preview area are masked and never transmitted to PostHog. Recordings reflect navigation patterns, click positions, and scrolling behaviour, and do not contain the substance of data entered by the user.

6. Routing and region

Analytics and session-replay data are transmitted to e.rezumic.com, a reverse proxy operated by Rezumic that forwards the request to PostHog's US cloud at us.i.posthog.com. The proxy serves an availability function only and does not alter the categories of data collected or the purposes for which they are processed.

7. Withdrawal and opt-out

Users may withdraw participation in analytics and session recording at any time by (i) declining or revoking consent through the in-product analytics-consent control, where presented; (ii) blocking the host e.rezumic.com through any network-, browser-, or extension-level mechanism, in which case the Service will continue to function without analytics; or (iii) submitting a written request to support@rezumic.com for the deletion of data tied to a given visit, in accordance with Section 8 of the Privacy Policy.

8. Subprocessors

The categories of data described in this Cookies Policy are processed with the assistance of the following subprocessors, each operating under contractual safeguards described in the Privacy Policy: PostHog (United States) — product analytics and session recording; Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and edge proxy; Railway (United States) — application hosting; Neon (United States) — managed Postgres database used in connection with the 24-hour PDF job record.

9. Changes

Rezumic may modify this Cookies Policy from time to time. Modifications take effect upon posting of the revised text on this page together with an updated effective date.

10. Contact

Queries relating to this Cookies Policy may be addressed in writing to support@rezumic.com.
